Major event changes
We have some amazing news concerning the CNE Digimon Event. We have been granted two Digimon Evolution Cup events of 32 player capacity. We’ve formally made the decision that we will be hosting these events at the CNE Gaming Garage on August 17th at 11:00 AM EST.
Priority for these events is going out to the players who pre-registered for our CNE event. Players may only participate in 1 Digimon Evolution Cup as both events begin at 11am est.
We ask that players submit their decklists through our Google form asap who’ve preregistered so that we may add you into the TCG+ event. Even if you aren’t sure with your decklist (you will be allowed to resubmit). We require your TCG+ number / Nickname to ensure you’ve been given priority.
Here’s the decklist submission link: https://forms.gle/8WfKJNzx492gD9J1A
In terms of the prizing/participation items from the CNE event. Each player participating will be receiving 1 evo cup promotional pack on top of the already promised participation items for the CNE event.
We are reworking all of the prizing from the CNE event so that it will be split equally between both pods of 32 players. Top 4 of each pod will also receive Digimon Evo Cup promos and the Champion of each pod will receive a Champion card.
**Please note that if we do not max out on each pod of 32-players, we will be adjusting the amount of booster boxes going into the prize pool (1 box per 8-players registered).
***Also please note that this will be the Evolution Cup’s for our TCG+ Account called Carta Magica Ottawa
We’d like to thank you all for your patience and look forward to seeing you all at the CNE!

Digimon CNE FAQ
Hello fellow Digi-Destined,
This Saturday is the big day for the CNE Digimon Tournament. We would like to note that the CNE event has switched to 2 Evo Cups. With that we’ve had a few questions that we’d like to answer.
𝟏) 𝐐: 𝐈𝐟 𝐈 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐍𝐄 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬?
A: All tickets previously purchased are being transferred over to one of the Evo Cups.
𝟐) 𝐐: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐨 𝐂𝐮𝐩?
A: We’ve cut the attendance down from 128-players to 2x 32-player Evo Cups. With that, each player will be receiving the previous participation items and we’re adding the Evo Cup participation items as well. The prizes have been separated from the large event and split equally to the 2 Evo Cups. Each Evo Cup has been allocated 6-Booster Boxes. The first Evo Cup is currently guaranteed the 6-Booster Box prize pool. The second event will be decided on the final registration numbers (1 box per 6-players registered if the second event doesn’t hit the 32-Player Cap).
𝟑) 𝐐: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝟏 𝐄𝐯𝐨 𝐂𝐮𝐩, 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐩 𝐨𝐮𝐭?
A: Previously we mentioned that we wanted to run these events simultaneously. However, after communicating with our team and a few members in the community, we’ve decided to postpone the second Evo Cup to 2:00 PM EST. With the shorter number of rounds (5-round maximum), we are able to run dual events with enough time to spare.
4) 𝐐: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭?
A: This link is available on our CM Professional Events description page. However here is the direct link to where you can submit your decklist: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf8CyG74vSi1w__AHB85OKrvMgoh8tYH9fx28LhySfobgDIKA/viewform
Please note that the decklists are due August 17th at 9:00 AM EST for Evo Cup #1 and 2:00 PM EST for Evo Cup #2 (Players can reuse the same list from the 1st event if they prefer without having to resubmit)
PLEASE NOTE BCP DECKLIST SUBMISSIONS ARE NOT A VALID FORM OF SUBMISSION, YOU MUST USE THE ABOVE FORM OR RISK BEING DROPPED FROM THE EVENT
𝟓) 𝐐: 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐨 𝐂𝐮𝐩𝐬?
A: We still have some slots available. Players can register at https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/event/1J6FMVUFQ8 . It is important however to be registered in the TCG+ event! Our TCG+ account is called Carta Magica Ottawa. Players who have pre-paid and / or have registered through TCG+ will be prioritized. We will be able to handle the registration fee on site (This in theory is more relevant for the second Evo Cup), but remember to submit a decklist before and also add yourself to the TCG+ Event.

6) 𝐐: 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 / 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭?
A: The convention game room opens up at 10:00 AM EST. We will have pairings go live at 10:45 AM EST. We will then follow up with our announcements for the day and begin the event promptly at 11:00 AM EST. The second Evo Cup will have postings up at 1:50 PM EST and start at 2:00 PM EST.
